Colleen Zaharakes
Senior Paralegal / Firm Administrator
Colleen is the Senior Litigation Paralegal for the firm committed to compassionate assistance and aggressive advocacy for individuals in Florida suffering injuries from automobile accidents, slip & falls, animal bites and more. Her expertise helps our clients navigate the insurance claims process to obtain fair compensation for their injuries both pre-suit and in litigation.
With over twenty years of experience in the legal industry assisting clients statewide, Colleen is passionate about helping others. She is heavily involved in various volunteer organizations throughout Florida including local Rotary Clubs, B.A.S.E. Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation, The Zebra Coalition, Downtown Arts District and many other Florida charities. Most notably, she is the Director of Give.Local.Love. – an iHeart Radio affiliated 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides locally based Central Florida charities, families and individuals with items of necessity, volunteer assistance and monetary contributions. Patricia Acevedo
Senior Legal Assistant
Patricia is a Senior Legal Assistant in our Criminal Defense department working primarily with attorney John V. Scatuorchio. Her team assists our clients with a variety of matters including moving traffic violations, injunctions, traffic related offenses, DUI and more.
Patricia is a University of Central Florida graduate with a degree in legal studies. She was born in Cuba and enjoys music, vintage clothes and her cats!

Mariola Reyes
Legal Assistant / Client Care Coordinator
Mariola is our resident Client Care Coordinator and Legal Assistant in our Criminal Defense department. She is essential in assisting our clients navigate the defense of the State’s claims against them whether it be for a DUI, possession, theft, firearm offenses, sex crimes, violations of probation and more.
Mariola joins the firm from the Osceola Clerk’s office where she spent five years clerking in the criminal department for misdemeanors, criminal traffic and civil traffic citations. She is currently pursuing her criminal justice degree at Valencia College.
Mariola was born in Puerto Rico and was raised in Brooklyn, New York. She relocated to Florida in 2012 and enjoys being part of the beach community and traveling to new places.

Kiara Soto Baez
Receptionist
Kiara is the newest addition to the Ladan Law team joining us as our receptionist. She takes most calls, assists in scheduling and coordinates client meetings with our professionals. With experience on the medical side of things, Kiara also assists in our personal injury department.
Kiara is a student at the University of Central Florida graduating soon with plans to attend law school and further her education. She enjoys traveling, going to the gym, attending sporting events, hanging out with friends/family and painting.
