Which drugs Are Law enforcement efforts concentrated on at this time?

Interviewer: Within the fabric of all the drug cases you see, specifically, in the Counties you serve, are there any particular drugs that enforcement is the most aggressive on right now?

Ladan Law: I know Methamphetamine is an epidemic out in the Western states, and we haven’t seen too much of that here, a little bit in the rural areas. In our urban areas we’re still seeing a decent amount of crack cocaine, and cocaine arrests.

We’re seeing less emphasis placed on the street level crimes. Although marijuana is still fairly prevalent, we’re not seeing a lot of cocaine or heroin arrests. It seems like the focus is really on prescription drugs now.
