According to police reports, Patricia Libby, a 39-year-old mom, was accused of driving under the influence after she repeatedly hit a parked car in the parking lot of a Marco Island, Florida elementary school where her kids are enrolled.
Reports state that Libby was dropping off her children for a class trip Thursday morning, when she allegedly hit a parked Smart car with her Hyundai. All this time, her children were in the car and Libby got out of the car and walked her children into the school as if nothing had happened. Her children are enrolled at the Tommie Barfield Elementary School on Marco Island.
Mortified parents who saw the scene reported it to the authorities. Police arrived at the scene and claimed that they smelled alcohol on Libby. She was arrested after she failed a field sobriety test several times.
